01 Context
ATP trains RTG and STS crane operators on equipment where an hour of real practice is expensive. The project started as an MVP with students and ended in an agreement and the founding of VIRTEC.
02 My role
What I did
- Developed the new UE4 version of the RTG simulator in 4 months.
- Delivered a turnkey RTG/STS system with 5 screens in 2.5 months.
- Integrated the cabin controls.
What the team did
- Modeling of cranes, containers, and the yard.
- Physical installation of the screens.
